Yesterday was just beautiful. Cool morning but sunny most of the day. Today the same, 18 degrees. Think it might rain for the footy on Saturday. I find this hard to believe but tomorrow, Friday, is a public holiday because of the footy finals on Saturday.

Chookie if you listen carefully at footy time on Saturday you will probably hear DD shouting. I'm loud but she is beyond loud. I sometimes think the neighbours must feel there is a murder being committed.
I hope my team win, but I always feel sorry for the losing team at Grand finals as they always look so sad at the end when the presentations are being made.

Hello everyone. Good luck in the grand final on Saturday Chookie, I always feel sorry for any team that has to come all the way from WA as the bulk of their supporters can’t make it to Melbourne due to the price of airfares. I also look at it this way, if a team plays badly in a GF (mine has) then I don’t feel sorry for them but if they’ve given it their all and still lose then I do feel for them. Pity rain is forecast for the big day.

There are about 12 Model A cars travelling over the Nullabor at the moment. About half are being driven and the others are on trailers. They have told us that they are being passed by lots of cars carrying Eagles supporters. The last grand final we played was pretty dismal. I hope things are better this time.

Hi Everyone,
It’s been a lovely warm day here today. So nice after a couple of cold days.

Looks like Spring is over. Back to the cold weather and rain today.
Melbourne family coming today. Probably Trudy’s Lemon Muffins for morning tea and Pizzas and salad for lunch followed by Ice Cream .

Good morning everyone. A dull overcast morning here. Rain & hail later in the day.

Smoky and overcast here today but is to be 25. Tomorrow is storms and 26. A cosy day to watch the footy.

Another sunny day here but with a cool breeze. My usual early morning walk with Chance across the fields using the pubic footpaths.

It is 0 degrees here at 7 am and it snowed last night. Rain is forcast for most of the day. We are not complaining as the dam has gone back about 4 inches.
Looking forward to the footy.
