I thought of you yesterday, Gert.  I was sitting at a tram stop waiting for a tram when a bus passed by with a vegemite advert on the side with the text reading "Tastes like girt by sea"  ;D

Very funny Cuildih. It took me a few years to get the hang of Vegemite but now, of course, I love it but Girt by sea?? Well I guess it is as it seems no bugger but us Aussies love it and we ARE girt by sea.

Good morning everyone, hi Gert.
A lazy day today, will do nothing but sit and watch the grand final pre-game activities before this afternoon’s match.

Good morning everyone.  A cool wet morning here.  Lots of rain overnight.

I'm not a footy fan so I will have to find something else to keep me occupied.

Spring has unsprung here. It's raining. Perfect to try and watch the footy.

.. shame we live in Collingwood, Judy - actually, I don't follow the AFL ... our local council came around a week or two ago with bunting, etc. for our shop window - I just put one black and one white cello case in the window and left it at that!
