My car is red Marina. I love red cars.
Cooler here today and overcast. There is a front that may come in today or tomorrow and give us a little rain.

I had to have yet another blood test today to check my sodium level, this time I wasn’t allowed to drink for 2 hours before the appointment in the hope it would give a more accurate reading. Hopefully this will be the last time I’ll get a call back.

Your sodium levels are very important Judy.
I’m due for my annual blood tests, I need to get off my tail end and go and get them done.

Judy and Cookie, real nuisance these blood tests but also very important. They can tell so much.
Going to be warm today, 34.

I hope you have a good reading Judy.
Was lovely early this morning but it's already heating up. Heading to 45 before a change later. I'm not going to complain though after seeing/reading about what's going on around Australia with the fires, so frightening for all involved. Stay cool everyone.

Popping in to say I hope all the Australian members and their families are safe and ok. The news is so scary and we are all thinking of Australia right now. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Xx

It started to rain very heavily at 3am this morning but this afternoon the sun came out. Our news headlines here today has been all about the dreadful fires raging in Australia. Take care friends 😘

Thanks to our English friends for their good wishes. Yes, the bushfires are truly awful . The number of people affected is incredible. I think the long lasting trauma is going to be the main problem. King lake and Mt Macedon have shown that towns can recover and be rebuilt.
Cooler here today. Clean out Chooks shed day.

Thanks CC and DJ for your kind wishes.
Julie, I hope you have recovered from your headache. I get a lot of them and they always leave me feeling drained and miserable.

I hope your headache has cleared JulieO.
Very kind of you to drop in DJ. Denise how is the mud situation? Does the sun dry it out a bit.
We have had a few beautiful days. Back up to 36 tomorrow.

Thanks for such kind thoughts to our English friends. I worry about what is to become of all these people without homes, rebuilding takes time and they have to live somewhere.
Julie we grandparents all understand that you want to sit and do nothing after having a grandchild stay. As much as we love them we sure do like giving them back don’t we? I hope your headache has disappeared after having a rest.
I was going to visit a friend by catching a couple of trains today but she lives near where a fire has reignited so had to evacuate to her brother’s place for the second time in a few weeks. We will plan for another try.

Thanks CC and DJ for our thoughts. Those fires are truly scary.
Hope your friends are OK, Judy.
My neighbour has been called to fight the fires in Mallacoota, he is well experienced, but still can't help but feel some concern.
