Good morning everyone.  A pleasant 22 deg. here.
DH almost trod on a snake yesterday, we spent some time trying to catch it but it managed to disappear into a bushy part of the garden.   DS and GS came this morning and had a look about with no luck.  They then did some gardening and trimming for us as well.   I hate snakes and had my fair share of them when we lived out in the country.
CC, I could do with some of your rain here so the snake would go away.

Denise that isn't good, I can only imagine the mud. It got to 40 here yesterday, today is going to be warm but not as bad as that.

I hope the weather doesn't put the workers too far behind schedule Cornish.  Have they said how much longer they expect to be?

It’s been a dry sunny day here today.

The screw piling is finished and the ground workers have been putting in the services to the house. Hopefully ground works will be finished by the middle of February. 😁

That's not too far away Cornish and as each week passes it gets closer to milder weather.  Will be a distant memory this time next year.  :)

The shearer’s have huge fans going and lots of fluids . They can choose to stop but while the sun shines sheep need to be shorn , always a pain when it raindps and we end up with wet sheep .

Good morning everyone.  Another hot day here hopefully we get a change later on.  We reached 44 deg yesterday.  I am not suited to this kind of weather.

The rain storm hit with a vengeance last night, 11 mm in 10 minutes here which turned into 19mm overnight - so good for our suburb which never receives a lot of rain whilst other suburbs do. My gutters couldn’t handle it so those I could see were overflowing, in the end I was pleased when the heavy fall finished and it was just steady rain after that.  Today is nice and cool so I’ve been motivated to vacuum and wash the floors.

Hi Mich. I hope you haven’t had fires too near you.
Phew, you ladies are experiencing the weather we had last week.  We didn’t have any storms though Judy.  It is going to be 40 here on Tuesday. Keep cool everyone.
