Chookie that is not good at all. Can you ask them how long the repair was supposed to last? My 31 scales don’t work well now but that is about 13 years old. So I am happy to accept it.  DH suggested I buy another thermomix, then said only if it’s a 31.

Lovely day here today. It’s only going to be 29 and overnight 14.  I can’t wait as we have had the ceiling fan on for many, many nights.

We don’t buy much online. At a friends suggestion we opened a PayPal account. We have an account linked to it that doesn’t have much money in it.  So far, so good.

I haven’t really thought of buying any extras to store in care of the corona virus. I have just over 10kg of bread flour, so that will keep us in bread for a month and I could use it for pasta.  DH said we could revert to newspaper for the toilet.... :-)) :-)) :-)). we would all have newsprint bottoms.

Question,  should I make vegan Hot Cross Buns? I could write recipe if there is a need. I would need to replace egg, milk and butter.

That would be an interesting mixture, I am sure there are loads of people 'out there' who would love to have this option.

Ok. I’ll give it a go.  Already have some requests for SD Hot X Buns.
Yesterday was very warm.  Today , max of 18.  We have had a little rain.
I am picking tomatoes, Zuchinni  and lots of herbs which I am drying.  Chooks have gone on strike.  1 egg yesterday.

We are going to see DH’s parents tomorrow. Taking Chance with us. We will overnight at DH’s brother house. My father-in-law will be 90 this year. Mother-in-law will be 89, unfortunately she has just been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. DH’s sister is organizing a party for his 90 birthday.

Sounds like your chooks are as confused with the weather as the rest of us, Chookie.

I'll look forward to hearing how the vegan hot cross buns turn out.

I had a lovely afternoon out yesterday.  I met up with a group of ladies from our old Mother's Club when our children were all at primary school.  A lot of laughs and a lot of reminicsng.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Enjoy the 90th Denise, it will be nice to catch up with all your in-laws.
Sounds like a great catch up Margaret, I don’t know if I would remember any parents from my girls’ primary school (apart from neighbours of that time) as I’d gone back to work then.
It’s nice to have some help in the garden Chookie, it’s hard for us to be everywhere. I find my garden suffers when I’m busy being everywhere.

Love this mild Autumn weather.  My favourite time of the year. The trees are starting to turn and our flowering gums are beautiful. Good baking weather also.

Enjoy FIL party Denise. Sad about MIL Alzheimers.

Margaret what a lovely group of people to meet up with.  I still see a few of the Mum’s form DD’s time in primary school.  We tend to frequent the same shopping areas and none of us have moved far.

I've felt quite saddened the last few days.  We got word that DH's ex BIL has bone cancer throughout his body.  Went to the Doc complaining about back pain, had xrays and this is what's been diagnosed.  Not sure what the prognosis is on that but it doesn't sound very good to me.
We don't get to see him very often these days but it has still knocked the wind out of our sails.

I will have to have a read back and see what everyone has been doing.

Julie, that is a worry, however after Ral’s experience last year it is truely amazing what can be done. They are finding new treatments and medications all the time.
It has been raining lightly all day and is moderately warm. The seedlings that I planted love this weather. Zuchinni still producing and I am picking green tomatoes and they are ripening inside.
Did a bit of shopping while out.  Main topic of discussion is toilet paper. I stocked up on Chick peas.  If the Chooks stop laying I will use the Aquafab as an egg replacement.
Bought a packet of 4 Aldi Hot X Buns. The more expensive ones.  Not very good, no flavour.

That’s sad news Julie, I hope there is something available to help him.
