Judy did you see Gert's instructions to Chookie? No cleaning. ;D
I had to go and get a script from the doctor this morning, the place was full! However social distancing was taking place. The chemist was even worse, quite a long waiting time there.
Our last coffee group has decided to postpone things until this is all over as we can't have coffee together now. Even our dentist rang this morning and has postponed our check ups until May. They are only open for emergencies. I hope we don't need them.
I'm due to have my hair cut this week, I hope it stays open as I hate it when my hair gets long.
Quite warm here at the moment, 33 or so and heating up to 35 on Wednesday.

Culling is permitted and encouraged!

I saw this coming so dentist, hair and nails were done last week!

Yes culling and cleaning are completely different, culling is definitely more fun too.

If this goes on for as long as predicted, I will have a bun and RAL a pony tail.
I had a laugh today, GD said she always envied kids who were home schooled.  After one day doing remote learning she has changed her mind.

No social interaction with people with remote learning. Even DD is missing uni and she even admitted to missing work.  She had a catch up with friends on Saturday but that may be the last for a while.

I would love to see Ral with a ponytail.

I think Ral would look great with a pony tail.

The UK is in Lockdown. Restrictions have been put in place to keep people at home.  I’ve decided to do our grocery shopping once a week. Luckily our neighbour has a paddock and we have permission to walk Chance there.

If this goes on for as long as predicted, I will have a bun and RAL a pony tail.

The thought of Ral having a ponytail made me giggle Chookie. 😂

Ral would have been of an age with hippies back in the day - he will just be going back to his younger self  ;D

CC, that is good for you and Chance that you can walk in his field.
Marina, how is the finger?  It was me who was the hippie.  Caftans and all.
Things are very strange here.  Everyone is trying to help others but there is not much that can be done.  There are no frozen peas, beans or mixed veg.  Many people are planting  seeds.
I have contacted a wholesale grocer in our area and will be putting in an order this morning.  They will deliver  to our house . I will leave boxes at our front gate for people to collect.
We are very busy in the garden but trying to conserve fuel by not mowing the lawn. We are not going out.
Hope everyone is ok and coping.

Thanks for asking, Chookie.  The finger continues to make life interesting.  It's not so bad, just highly inconvenient!

Could I suggest to you, and everyone, to pop out to fuel your car up ... just to be on the safe side as, if things get really bad fuel may become rationed.

Hi Robyn, we haven’t seen you for a while.  You will be in your element with all the cooking you do.

I agree with Marina, the price of petrol here is so cheap (under a dollar) and when my SIL was over from Melbourne he couldn’t believe the prices.

Chookie that is so you doing what you’re doing for people in your circle, well done you.

Denise, it’s so crazy isn’t it. It must be the first time we’ve all been in the same boat and therefore we can fully understand each other’s problems.  I’m glad Chance will still be able to have his daily walks, are you taking him out twice a day still?

Mum had a fall today, no broken bones but I imagine she is shaken up and I can’t do anything about it.  They will keep me informed, I had decided not to worry them on a daily basis when they went into lockdown as I knew they would be inundated with emails and phone calls. I figured they’d let me know if there were any problems - they certainly did that today.

Judy I feel for you. At least you may be able to send your Mum an ecard, saying you are thinking of her. We can't even email MIL. Even if we had made arrangements they would give it to her to read and she can't read English very well at all. Poor old dear she only went to about Year 2 in the Ukraine, so really is a completely self taught reader. She once joked, long ago that she could read Here is Dick. Here is Dora etc very well.

Warm here today. It's going to be 37 on Thursday.
