Heard something on the radio last week that really got me to focus on how easily COVID can spread.  The commentator passed the comment to compare cigarette smoke to COVID particles in the air.  That certainly gave me a wake-up call of just how vulnerable we can be, even when we take the best precautions possible.

I can almost imagine the quote Chookie.
Marina this Delta is very contagious. That is a very good analogy which is easy to understand.
We have just been up to DD’s house. It’s looking beautiful. Sadly we caught the man over the road dumping rubbish at her place. We have long suspected it was him but today we caught him. Sad.

Oops, how embarrassed was he?  Not a good start to neighbourly harmony cookie, let’s hope he took his rubbish back and won’t do it again.   The house is coming along nicely, DD must be very excited seeing it nearing completion.

People can be uncaring and unthinking, Cookie, just thinking about themselves all the time, not neighbourly at all. I hope he had some remorse and won't continue dumping on your DD's property.  It is very disappointing.

Cookie, that is awful. Not uncommon.  They put locks on skips that are on the street because other people put their rubbish in them,
DD house is looking good. I’ll bet you are all excited.
A little warmer today. Yesterday got to 8.  Today 13.

Apparently, to get out of the city and because you are allowed to leave home to get vaccinated, people are booking vaccinations in country towns and saying that they are going to get vaccinated!  It is so disheartening for those of us trying our best to do the right thing when you get these people who think they are being clever ruining it for everyone else.  And they wonder why knockdowns last so long.  I may have said it before, but it is still true ... they have sawdust for brains!

A very apt description Marina. My brother has a place in Dwellingup. There is the house and then a sort of little flat out the back. He airbnb 's them. He was at the house on the weekend and the people going to the flat rang him asking for directions. (he supplies directions when they book). The first time they rang they were at the house, the second time they were at the flat.  (it has a different front door)!!!

That's a funny story but, as I said ... sawdust.

Yesterday turned into a beautiful sunny day. Cooler today.
Last year , at this time, our Electricity  bill was $400. This year, with the solar panels, $220.

They certainly help.

A very windy day here.  I took advantage of the wind and washed some throw rugs, they came in off the line and were lovely lovely and fluffy.
