It has turned cold again. 10 max today.
Might go to the mushroom farm today and get some compost and mushrooms.
Seedlings coming on great. Have started planting out even though cold.  They will just sit until the warm weather arrives. I have covered them with plastic cloches.

DH hurt his back again yesterday morning.  He simply bent down to pick something up and couldn't get back up again.  He has spent most of yesterday and today either laying flat or sitting quietly and reading.

Poor man. I feel for him. Very sunny over here.

Oh no Margaret, to go out so easily is a worry.

Margaret, that happens to my DH several times a year as well - and just as easily as it happened to your DH yesterday.  It is so distressing for both him and us seeing them suffering so much and being unable to help.  I hope your DH recovers soon.

Thank you everyone for the kind wishes for DH.  He is a little better today and moving around rather slowly.

Marina I had a good chuckle at the little video.  The dog seemed to be really enjoying itself.

Thanks for the laugh, Marina.
My Miele ovens are on the way. OMG, I hope I can manage this high tech stuff. I watched a Canadian YouTube on making bread and baking in Miele. Awful result. I would be embarrassed to show the result.

Very exciting getting your Miele ovens ... perhaps you should do a YouTube presentation on breadmaking in your new oven ... show everyone what a 'real' woman can do with it!

Everything these days is a bit difficult for we oldies Chookie. Gone are the days when you just flick a switch for something to work. Power failures are always dreaded around here as I have trouble setting the clock on my Miele, somehow I end up fluking it after a while. I never use the timer on the oven, I use the microwave one instead as that’s easier.  I guess if you use things more regularly than I do things would be easier.  You will be fine though, you have Ral to help work things out and the Grandchildren nearby if you need them.

What a good laugh, Marina and Judy.
Ballarat is going into lockdown tonight , for a week.
