Hi Obbie. I hope you haven’t been effected by any of the rains up your way.

I've been having trouble logging in to the forum lately.  I keep getting the message "Can't find record in SMF_session"  does anyone know what this is?
I'm also having trouble with lots of ads since I have had the new computer.  Does anyone have any ideas what to use to get rid of them please they are driving me mad.

Mab I have had the same problem. I was going to contact MM again and it came right. I’ve had lots and lots of ads for some time now. It’s a nuisance.

I too have had the same problem. The adds are annoying because if you press the star asterisk twice it logs you out .

This may help with unwanted ads.  This is specific to my settings - I am on Android using Firefox.

Open Settings and you will see (probably down the bottom of the screen) "Extensions and Themes" and you should be able enable uBlock Origin.  Works for me, hope it does for those of you who have a similar set up as I do.

We had a wild and noisy time here with the storm over the last couple of days.  125km hour winds, no power, no heating, no internet.  Thankfully my stove has a gas cook top so I was able to heat water for tea and coffee and make a stew for our dinner.   DIL is still without power and will be for a few more days yet due to all the trees that came down.
She has had to throw out a lot of food from the freezer and what she could save she brought here to put in my freezer.

I’ve been hearing about the dreadful storms over there. Stay safe everyone.

Those storms were fierce.  On top of all the power outages your suffered, it is lucky you didn't sustain damage to your home as well.

Thankfully we are back on line .
I keep thinking every time we are locked out or whatever happens and not able to get in . What if that’s permanent? I find I’ve lost my friends and such great info and support. Anyway nice we are back .
