Just go over Uni as she will be pleased to have you there.
From my experience I don't interfere and I  wait until they ask for advice but I am not shy about asking to hold baby  :)

Same as me. :)
Just pop over and say just come to give Eve a goodnight cuddle. Then you can ask if she needs you to do anything to help.
You will not be interfering by doing that and even if you are only there 5 minutes it's better than not going.
It's different if you were going constantly and telling her what to do.
When you leave just tell her if she needs any advice or help you are there for her anytime  :)

I have 10 grandchildren Uni and one due on boxing day.
To be honest I would not do the same  with my DIL's even although I get along very well with them and love them to bits.
It's different when it's your daughter. My eldest Daughter has  2 and youngest has 3 and is pregnant. They have both been very happy to have me around when babies were born but if they were tired or wanted time on their own they would let me know.
Up to you what to do but your DD will be happy to know how much you care  :)

She has had 40 contractions since 9pm last night. She's not rushing in to hospital quiet yet but has warned me that she could be going in soon
