Oh no, we run out of hot water often when DS 16 has a shower. He's a real pain for spending too long in the shower :(

Her is the trick but you all have to suffer for a we bit. Turn off the hot water. Use it all during the day. When DS wants a shower no hot water. .  DS goes off to school Turn hot water back on.  He gets the message. If not repeat until he does.

Worked for me.

Gert

Great idea Gert :D

Aren't they supposed to be doing weird things in the shower other than washing? Don't want to go there, but I think thats why they spend so long in there. Girls take just as long to shower and wash their hair, but at least its legit.

Glad to hear you had a good day Michele - a long day for you.  Is that the first time either of you have met a TMX person?

I meet up with thermomixlover (Wendy) every now and again. Another Novocastrian.

Yes, off to work work soon and then going to a high tea for a young lass that's leaving to have a baby.

It's nice that you're in train distance of your grandson and daughter. Don't want to miss a moment.

I see you're both online. I've been awake since 2.30 am and it's now 5.15. I got sick of tossing and turning.
Two things were worrying me.
One was a stupid thing I did last night. We have a 60th birthday on Sunday that's a surprise. I thought I'd get him a magazine subscription. When I went online there was a free one - he's in to Go Karts, so I signed him up for it.
Then I thought - oh sh#^ he's going to get this email telling him to activate his subscription! Can't wait until 8.00 so I can ring his wife and tell her to quickly delete it.
The other was a reminder for a water bill. I chucked it as I was paying bills today. Then laying in bed I realized that there was no water bill in my list of bills paid today. Now I have to dig through the recycling when it's light enough!

Glad you had a good time at the Show together

Yep! Sorted the water bill, but hanging out for 8 am so I can phone. Then I'm going back to bed. I only had 3 hours sleep last night. I'm so bl&^%y sick of waking up at 2.30 every morning.

My total sympathy MJ!!  Apologised to family the other night for being a "party poop" at 8:30pm and having to get to bed before I dropped at their feet . . . . DS replied, "That's ok.  Given the time you get up it'll still be going strong and then you'll be the life of the party . . !"   :-)) :-)) ;D ;D  (body clock doesn't know which way is up . . or down!!)

Its always worse worrying about things at night when you're lying in bed and can't do anything about them! The magazine subscription is such a lovely idea MJ. I hope you get it sorted out so it can be a surprise for him :)

And I hope you catch up on some of that sleep! :-))
