Sorry I wasn't around early this morning but for the first time in 7 months I got to sleep from 12:30 until about 7:15 this morning.  It took that long to get my son settled and in the end I put him in the pram, walked until he fell asleep and left him there.  And he slept all the way to morning.  Since then it's been busy.

Dropped stuff off at the op shop and ended up shopping myself.  For $27.00 I got 2 pairs of jeans for DH, jeans and 3/4 pants for myself, winter dress and jeans for DD and 1 t-shirt, flannel shirt, 2 pairs of denim shorts and 2 pairs of long pants for DS.  Bargain  That works out to $2.25 per item.

Uni, if you don't really have to work and just want to do something to break the monotony of being home all day, why not join a club of some description. 

maybe i should start a cooking club

Have rhe driver details of the hit & run. So my insurance will pay my. $550 xs, i suppose I ring them & get car booked in. Going to take 4 days fir repairs!!!

Phew , I've been away from the forum for a few days (rush trip back from holidays as DD was in hospital) and I have all this exciting things to read here.
Uni, I now realize you do smoke ( I asked elsewhere) and obviously have trouble sleeping. I am very fortunate and don't, so I won' t  be joining you in the early morning chats. Apart from the fact we are 2 hours behind Sydney. I'll enjoy reading all your chats though.

Uni cooking classes sound  great. You'd be great at that or before you take the  plunge for that what about starting a branch of this? I don't know where you live but it is not just in the UK

You just need a venue where you agree  to buy their drinks in return for the space. I don't know what sort of restaurant y our son has if it is suitable for the first one?
Max members 30 -35.
I haven't been yet but hope to go to one near me in August, am away for the July meeting.

Anyway food for thought and this idea might appeal to other members on  here.
