Well you know what they say " no foot, no horse"
Same for people.

Sorry to hear your probs Uni and Gert. hope you both get sorted, but the trouble is the sorting is often painful and scary and takes us out of circulation for a while.

Night all!

Just get it done. The family will just have to cope . Instead of looking for a job get the wart fixed and take a long break. It is a nasty thing.

....

"And I am all alone.
There is no one here beside me.
And my problems have all gone,
There is no one to deride me.

But you got to have friends the feeling's of so strong.
You got to have friends to make the day last long.

I got some friends but they're gone
Someone came and took them away
And from the dusk till the dawn here is where I'll stay.

Standing at the end of the world boys
Waiting for my new friends to come.
I don't care if I'm hungry or poor,
I'm gonna get some of them.

I can't believe how many pages this thread grows overnight - mind you I didn't get up until 9am this morning  :-))

Uni & Gretchen - both of you need to attend to these problems.  Uni just imagine if you couldn't walk or ended up in a wheelchair - believe me you wouldn't like it and as you live upstairs, however are you going to get down to street level.

Gretchen have a break and get your little job done, I had it done many years ago and my DD at only 40 also needs it done - we are 2 peas in a pod, have done all the heavy lifting over the years that women should not do and that, on top of giving birth which is the main cause, is why us women have these problems as you would know.

That as well as standing for hours in the operating theatre unable to leave. It is ok for the surgeons but the sisters have to stay, do the count clean up then set up for the  next one while the doctors have lunch, put their feet up and have a pee as well. Not  necessarily in that order!

Try and find a surgeon that will take an uninsured person in the public hospital and get  a waiting list.i will be dead before that happens.

:D :D :D That must have been dreadful Gretchen, not being able to go to the toilet for the amount of time some operations take.
