Mine are actually little round blue ones with pale blue lids that I bought in big w years ago...they don't have a brand on them.

Yep, I have both sizes of them and they do have 2 sizes in round as well, freeze, thaw, microwave, dishwasher... very pratical - mine have been used over and over for years - I freeze choc custard in the small round ones for Miss 5's lunchbox treats still, so not just good for baby food stuff!!

Ikea have some nice smallish jars that might work, Uni.  There is also a link on the Preserving Jars thread that is active at the moment.

For those with talented musical kids - take it from me, to have and play music is great, but you cannot live on it in Australia.  The best idea is for them to go for a 'career' of some sort and play music for fun, or in a semi-professional orchestra, chamber music group, etc.

Morning all.
What a lot of interesting stuff to catch up with.

Stacelee my DD was also the girl with the curl but at 24 and home again she's lovely, fun, helpful.
I always said whe she was about 6  that she'd make a great grown up if we could,get her there safely, and it seems we have.
Even the last year has made a difference. Plus she has a job so out all  day and not home bored, which is never good.
It's only a temp job for 14 weeks, then she is away on another temp job and after that we hope she'll have some kind of traineeship for graduates. agriculture still has job opportunities. Fingers crossed.

My DH must be a teen still (!!!!!!!!) as st I'll puts Tom sauce on things scrambled egg, quiche, etc etc not quite on everything.

My mother had a mangle for her washing, I used to love turning the handle.

Must dash am working all day today.
Catch up later, have a good day or night wherever you  are.
