Rest up Kim, you must be absolutely worn out today. The kids will probably handle it better than you if they managed to sleep on the plane but I'm sure your parents will look after them today for you.

After twelve years living abroad you dont miss things as much as when your used to having them.. Imo anyway.. Its nice having them around though.. And they are loving having the kids around..

Welcome home Kim. You should feel very proud of the way you handled things.. It would take some doing. I'm sure you will miss lots of things in France for some time.

Welcome home Kim - the oz to Europe flight with 2 kids is bad enough without all the problems you've had. You're a hero in my book!

What an excellent idea Uni - I would not have thought of using pancakes that!

Welcome to Oz Kim.
I sympathize with you traveling on the E airline with the children. We had a bad experience with them as well and we feel, never again. We travel often and never before have we experience such rudeness.
Happy settling in Oz.

AmyA and DH were over for dinner tonight, and I sent her home with one of my Sour Dough starters and instructions for the pancakes, she is going to make them for breakfast, I like the idea of using them for lasagne and cannelloni .
