Uni, have fun on your cruise. Forget the travel sickness meds. Just take your lemoncillo (I hope I got that right :/ ) and get drunk :D
Exercise is a dirty word... Every time I hear it, I wash my mouth out with chocolate

We've been to Vila, Mystery Island and the Isle of Pines Uni - quite common places to go when you cruise to Fiji.

I have been on a cruise to those too Judy, 23 years ago...

Uni, hasn't the booking company given you any information at all?  They tell you how many formal nights (when you get to meet the Captain and have cocktails before dinner) - possibly 2 in an 11 night cruise.  I always packed black pants for evening and lots of different tops to wear with them, jeans and shorts for day time and as Yvette said, some of the rooms are quite cold.  I know I needed a light cardigan in the bingo room (yes bingo Uni, you will love it so buy yourself one of those felt dot bingo pens if you don't already have one).  Make sure you have the cocktail of the day - that was always one of the highlights of my trips.  Take your togs, the pools are great and on the days that you spend on one of those islands you mentioned, it would be great to go snorkelling to see the fish (does Frank swim).  You don't have to go out deep though.  We were lucky enough on one cruise to have 2 male passengers from the dining table next to ours offer to take Geoff snorkelling - he loves fish so that was such a thrill for him to be held afloat and guided around.  On one of those islands we were able to buy a crayfish from the locals - so look out for that.

Get packing girl, you are going on Monday!  I found you never needed all  the clothes you packed  ;)

Oh another thing Uni, if either of you feel sick whatever you do don't go down to your cabin and think you will ride it out down there.  Get up on deck, find yourself a deckchair if you can and get that fresh sea air into you - it will do far more for you than being cooped up in a stuffy cabin (unless you have one with a balcony of course).  I have heard of people who didn't feel well from travel sickness who spent most of their cruise in their cabin which was the biggest mistake they made.

Ships these days have great stabilisers, my first cruise was on the Oriana 1 back in 1980 and when the sea was rough (particularly going out through Sydney heads) boy did she rock and roll.  Walking down the passageways was interesting, you would soon learn to become very friendly with the other passengers as you usually ended up in their arms when the ship swayed from side to side - it was a great way to get to know your fellow passengers but things are different now with the modern ships we have.

I am so excited for you Uni - wish I was coming with you.
