Nice you had a sleep in marie... I died at 7.30 last night which is unheard of for me.. Spent afternoon at zoo then were going to go out for dinner but it was very overcast and threatening to rain so we grabbed some dvds and nibbles to spend the night in and i lasted all of 1 hour lol.. Kids were tired too as they came to bed with me :)

We had a nasty incident here on Thursday night when our grandson was assasaulted by his mother who was drunk.  GS who is 12 managed to run out of the house to a phone box and call 000 where he waited until the police came to collect him.  His dad doesn't live with them and works away during the week so we were called in to take care of him.  Had to go to court the next day and we are now going to have him for the next 3 weeks and then back to court.  Don't know what is going to happen in the end as she is not fit to have him.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

That's a terrible thing to happen mab, good luck with a more suitable outcome. Do you think you will be asked or perhaps you will offer to have him full time?   Thank goodness he was old enough to be able to get away from the situation.

Oh my goodness mab.. How scary for a 12 y o :(  i dont think i will ever understand as a mum who is sooooo protective of her children how anyone especially a mother could  harm a child.. So sad!
