I've just checked the forecast . . rain and a maximum of 15C - looks like a dismal and depressing day to say the least . . .not great for the school holidays . . >:(

Have you spoken to them much Kim - are they enjoying their visit with your parents?

Every day Judy... They are having a great time.. Think mum and dad are worn out though.. Only hiccup is ds split his chin open again but not as bad as last time but they got to do some fun things like feed the dolphins at tin can bay etc.. Will have a chat to them on the way back but I asked them if they had fun and would go back they said yes..so all good and I got the break I needed xx

Morning all.  Went to Melb yesterday.  -3 on the road,  signs flashing,  black ice.
Kim, good all round.  Glad you had a rest.

This is for when you're next playing Trivial Pursuit. Do you know there are also Vorwerk chickens?  (Not available in Australia though :-)))

"The Vorwerk is a breed of chicken originating in Germany. Though it is unrelated to the German company which produces the Vorwerk vacuum cleaner[/i], (and other things I've heard tell! ;D) it is the only chicken to share its name with a brand of household appliance"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vorwerk_(chicken)

Beautiful birds!

Nice looking chooks. I can see a neglected market here.

I'm sure The Hoover and Electrolux breeds could take off too.  ;D ;D
