DJ if you had a nice mug with feet so to speak you would have the best of both and no coasters needed.

Take care Marie
So glad you are going to have your PB checked.

Yes take care Marie.
I've had loads and loads of nosebleeds over the years, had my nose cauterised many times and have always had excellent BP.
Sometimes naseptrin cream helps.
Hope you are ok, take care.

Hope it doesn't re-occur Marie, why do these things always happen at weekends.
Love those mugs Gert. Like Julie, cups and saucers are just not big enough for your first cup of the day so I've taken my own mugs away with us but I have found over recent years that some hotels are replacing small cups with mugs.
DJ, when people book in perhaps you could ask them if they prefer mugs or cups and saucers - people usually have a preference and it would be nice to please everyone.

Take care Marie. Not a nice thing to start the day. This happens with DS6 a lot too. Hope BP Is ok.
Love the mugs DJ. I like mugs and saucers too. The ones with feet sound good Gert.

Thanks everyone, been down to the doctor as was feeling a little woozy
(no I hadn't been drinking). He checked my blood pressure and said it was a little higher than when last checked and wants to see me next week again unless I get another nose bleed in the meantime and to take it easy for the rest of the day. So I will catch up with some reading this afternoon.
Gert, those mugs look great.

DJ, I really like the mugs you have chosen. I would prefer a mug to a cup and saucer if given the option.
Take care Emme and enjoy your book

Yes, rest up Marie - it's so much easier to do when we have been ordered to do so by our doctors

Rest up Marie
I would be very happy to be sipping out of one of those footed mugs but the ones you have chosen DJ are lovely.

Rest up Marie. I hope you are feeling a little better now.
DJ those mugs are lovely. I prefer mugs too as cups are too small. However I love fine bone china so a nice mug or cup and saucer would do me. I could always have 2 cups of tea/coffee.

Morning all, take care Marie, enjoy your book and hope it settles down.
Thanks for all the mug comments.
What about a large cup and saucer .... Dull but big.....

Useful but probably not as nice in my opinion. They don't seem as friendly and welcoming. Nice cups or mugs are sort of of saying welcome.

Take care Marie.
The other mugs you have already bought are much prettier DJ.
Would there be room for you to provide both options? I would prefer a mug myself.

The mugs you have already bought are so pretty that I think cup and saucer people would be happy to use them. They are much more delicate than the usual chunky mugs so should please everyone.
