Good afternoon everyone.

A lovely cool day here today but still no rain.

Looking forward to my air fryer coming perhaps I shouldn't have been so lazy and went to a shop instead of mail order.

Judy I'm sure you both had fun in bed with the iPads. I can just imagine it.

Bedlam, do which ever is easier I say.

Hello quickly... So much to do.
Had no power since fri night, now back on. Thank goodness. So much can't be done with it off.
Old range worked beautifully keeping us warm.
Off to Hoover new carpet in bedroom, and second hand carpet tiles in farm office.
Catch up when I can.
Take care all

It is hard to believe you have had such bad bad weather CC and DJ. What a miserable time. We have had two sort of semi fine days with a bit of sun which is drying up the yard.

Also had a water leak which we were told about by the council along with a nearly $500 three month water bill. Took a plumber all day to find and repair for only $670. Writing letter to council to see if we can get some relief from the bill as the damage was partly due to tree roots from council land. Do not hold out much hope. More than a little piffed off.

Gert, I hope they do give you some relief with the water bill.  Can you take photos of the damage pipe and tree roots etc and mark on a rough plan of the area involved, they might take more notice.

Letter going off tomorrow with photos and  details so wait and see. Small potatoes when others  are having such a hard time. Only money.

We've had problems with tree roots in our drains Gert. :P They eventually put a special piece of equipment down to cut through the roots and then flush everything with high water pressure. To date there hasn't been anymore problems.
