I thought the Dash was a small plane but I was getting it confused with another type.

Looking at BOM again, take care all you FNQ friends. My recipe for wind is Port, taken liberally. Gert you are always a lady. :)

I have a lovely bottle of Muscat waiting for an occasion. If Ita is as bad as they are saying then it might be the occasion.

Good evening  :D Nice to see so many familiar faces on at this time of night. I usually have fallen asleep watching TV by now.
Had an evening shift and not long home. I must get on here at this time more often.
Hope you all have had a lovely day.  :D

Suzanne, same here! Hoping and praying that storm runs into some hefty speed bumps and decides landfall is not the way to go. I can't even begin to think how terrifying a cyclone if that magnitude would be!  Thinking of you all up there in FNQ. Hope those of you who end up in its path can  all ride out whatever comes your way without injury and with no or very minimal property damage.....

Take care queenslanders.

Been hectic today, garden, farm and house all happening. Not me doing it all you'll be pleased to hear.
Last of curtains (except kitchen blinds) tomorrow, and one more carpet. DH just mended the floorboards.
Next week will see a big sort out and it should get easier, depending on how busy the sheep are. No lambs today.

Lots of  rain now and some wind. Just finished hauling most of the ouside stuff inside. Cannot move the teak table by myself so maybe Ita can't either. Let some water out of the pool in preparation for the 300  to 500 mlx expected. Will have to keep emptying it all day and night with that amount. Tricky as I can't empty below the filter line or the filter will be stuffed.

Window washers came and went as why bother and they missed out on the Banana Rum Cake.

Muscat at the ready.
