Obbie, so glad you are feeling so much better and tests results are good.  Take it easy when you go home and rest up :)

Is there a plan Robyn.? You might be out walking instead of home cooking on the weekends. Maybe no salt. I don't even wanna think about it but whatever the plan you better stick to it.

Glad there is a solution Robyn.  ;D

Just had a bit of a scare with DH. Had a recall on a chest Xray. Turns out he has an enlarged heart - good outcome (I was thinking ca had metastasised) Will know more after the echo but needs to exercise and modify diet, probably a pill. - easy done  ;D

Gosh Michele, I would have thought an enlarged heart was a problem but it doesn't seem to worry you.

I probably sound a little casual Judy. Enlarged heart isn't nothing but it's not cancer. Things will be able to put in place.
When I heard recall/chest Xray, I panicked. Just goes to show that you need all the information. Will know more once the echo is done.

Exactly right. You need the right knowledge. Hopefully no big deal and can be controlled.

Any exercise has got to be a good thing. After watching my grandma age, strength decrease and now not be able to walk it has really motivated me to keep active throughout my life. It's amazing how quickly the body deteriorates as the years go by. My friend just completed in the iron man (90k ride, 20k run, 2k swim) motivated by an overweight woman the year before who did it. We all just need to set our own goals and make health and activity a high priority. I think I do well with food I just need to increase activity!

Glad to hear your results have come back ok Robyn.

Mich hope all will be ok with your DH.

Glad to hear you are heading home to your family Robyn. Don't let them slip back into that 'mum can do it all' mentality. Take the kids out walking with you.
Walking is good for so many reasons!  :)

Sounding very positive for you Robyn, mich hand DH, must have been frightening, I think sometimes having too much knowledge ( being a nurse) must make it harder.  You know all the worst case scenarios.  Thinking of you all.

Good news for you, Robyn, now is the time to start taking care of yourself.

Mich, sorry to hear news re. DH, but sounds hopeful of a good resolution.
