Good morning all!
I used to love the school holidays when my kids were young. I liked that break from the daily routine of making lunches, uniforms, homework etc. :)

Hope you and Chance enjoyed the walk Denise.

Perhaps you can help me - I have a UK cook book and in a recipe for Piccalilli it calls for both runner beans and green beans. These sound like the same thing to me! Do you know the difference? Thanks in advance.

We did thanks Katie.Beautiful full moon in the morning sky. ;D

Runner beans are long and flat. They do have a distinctive taste.
Green beans are round and short.I call these French Beans :D Must have different names according to where you live  :D

Thanks Denise.  I think I normally just buy the round ones, but now I think about it I've seen the flat ones occasionally.  I have to have a look at the market.

The links aren't working for me, but it could just be me (or the forum gremlins).

I didn't know flat beans were called runner beans, I  often buy them.  They are much easier to slice.

It's that time of the year Denise, I love my quiet mornings reading the forum before anyone else gets up. I should be doing as you do and going for a walk though.
