Hope you have a good supply of Port Cookie, I though of you this morning when it was quite windy here.
Im making my first batch a quince paste, when I added the sugar there looked like there was far to much for the thermo bowl, gave it a quick wiz and it was jus on the 2 ltr mark, so tipped half into my other jug. If anyone is around that can help me do I shorten the cooking time?
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Hi friends.
Another sunny start here but a bit of a cold wind blowing.
Saw the Vixen again when walking Chance this morning and this time she had two cubs with her.

Jeninwa is there something about reduce by 20%?
Last time I made quince paste I didn't cook it for the full time as it got incredibly thick. I think it was thermomixers recipe.

That was quite a big shop, good fun though and a nice lunch afterwards.  Silly me left my money sitting on the bench at home so Katie had to pay for my goods until I went to an ATM.

Thank goodness for good friends. What sort of things did you buy?

Good evening everyone :)

We came home from our holiday mid last week and I don't seem to have stopped since.  We had some nice weather unlike those at home.  Both of us now have "sniffy" noses and a bit of a cough.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

You also bought a litre of cream, 3kg sugar and 150m Glad foil.

I didn't buy much - 12 tubs of tomato paste, 2 White King toilet cleaners, corned silverside and some lamingtons. But I didn't need to buy much, seeing as I've been there 3 times in the last 2 weeks! Oh and a cookbook Richard wouldn't me but last week when we were there.

I read on a Costco FB page the lamingtons were amazing and I got sucked into buying them. They are ok, but they have that fake taste shop bought cakes seem to have.
