Hi friends.
A sunny start to the day here.Lovely walk with Chance this morning.Watched the Skylarks soaring above the cornfield.Sadly the species are in decline and might become extinct.

Thanks for the link to the Skylark CC. You made it very easy to see what they look like.

I enjoy reading about everyone's weather on here. I imagine Judy all rugged up and cosy with other SA members, Wonder in warm boots and coat going to work, CC taking Chance for a walk in mizzle or whatever she has described to us. Chookie's gardeners working in the cold, waiting for soup and a roll for morning tea.  ;D ;D

It has been warm and sunny here. Cloud is coming in now (3.30pm). It's cool but by no means cold.

I agree with cookie,  I love how you give us links to all the bird life and animals you see on your walks Denise. Being a bird lover, I have to click on the links.

My home, backs onto a creek and rainforest and this morning I saw a cassowary at my back fence. He is looking lost and forlorn and probably has been kicked out of his territory in the Kuranda Ranges behind me. I will try to get a pic of him.

Cookie you have summed up everyone's morning's very well. I had planned on going for a walk this morning and had my gear all laid out, but slept in which is very unusual, I only woke when one of the dogs started scratching to come into the house. It's a cold and overcast morning and I was indeed rugged up for the trip to work.

Beautiful birds CC's, being a walker and dog lover myself I love to hear of your morning walks with Chance.

Good morning everyone.  That would have been delightful Gert, they can be nasty though can't they?

Oh Gert. Poor Mr Cassowary. I know they can be fierce but I still feel very sorry for him. What will happen to him?

Thanks Wonder. I enjoy hearing about the weather etc from everyone. It makes me feel in contact with all of the world.....well lots of it. A little overcast here, a tiny bit of rain over night , but not cold.

Interesting article Gert, thanks for sharing.  I found it most intetesting that the article mentioned the commission earned by demonstrators, something I thought was a tightly held secret :o
