We arrived home yesterday from our holiday.  We had a lovely relaxing time with good weather and now we are home it's raining.  Oh well that's Gippsland weather

So much has happened on the forum since we left and it sounds like you all had a wonderful time at the FF.  So sorry that I didn't make it.  I was thinking of you all while I was at the wedding we had to attend.  Maybe next time

I had an email to say they had been received at AA and would be posted out. I wonder if any of us will get a gold ticket.
I've been very bad, I've bought Tenina's Vegetarian book, Alyce's and now Tenina's two Christmas books. I think that will do me for a while.

I've joined the club and been very bad, bought Tenina's vegetarian book earlier in the week, home alone last night I bought skinny mixer  Asian cookbook then saw Tenina's post so bought both her xmas books.

Good weather certainly helps us enjoy our holidays that little bit more Margaret, ours was pretty good too but typical of Melbourne with high and low temps.   You should try and join us at some stage, it's a real hoot.

I've had a break through over the last week or so - I'M A LOUSY COOK.
I have stacks of cookbooks that I think will help me be a better cook - they don't, my skills are still dismal.
If it is OK with you all, will be giving away some cookbooks over the next weeks.

As if Mich, we all know you're a wonderful cook.  We've seen the photos and we've read about all the lovely food you make.

Cookbooks are great (I love them), but I don't think they make people better cooks.

A better day here today misty but will be sunny later.A good walk with Chance.The only thing I saw was of interest was a Ferrari roaring through our sleepy village at 7.40 am. My goodness it was noisy

It was only a matter of time before you hit the 'giveaway' thread again Michele.  We all love to read recipe books but we could never cook all the recipes we like from them.  Our needs are usually pretty basic or diet related so we tend to stay within those boundaries. From what I've seen of your photos on the forum, you often try different things and they all look good to me. I bet your DH isn't complaining

Since  Don has had his wake up call with his heart, he will be eating as I have been since on the study last year.
I don't need near the stuff I've got and if anyone would enjoy the books I pass on, then that's really great.

DH dragged me out of bed to watch the rugby this morning. Great game and one very happy DH.

I've told him this is the last time he came go for the All Blacks as he is becoming an Aussie on Wednesday after 36 years.
