Hi friends.
A partially cloudy day to the start here.A good walk with Chance.I had a Little Owl fly about two feet above my head walking through some trees this morning. It was a bit of a surprise at the time LOL.

Trudy, I must be getting old, took me a day and a half to feel ok . Thanks for asking.
Morning all.
Bit early today.  Yesterday was warm, 14 degrees. Lovely.
DD and GC visited.
New chooks are laying well. Small eggs but 5 a day.
Today, planting, chives and Dalia tubers.

Good Morning everyone!! Another beautiful morning here, rains forecast for tomorrow but the weekend weather looks good, so looking forward to it :)

Chookie, I too have bought some Gladioli tubers to plant in the garden, need to get some color...
Is this the best time to plant Dalia?

Thermilover, it's probably a bit early in Ballatat. November or late October best.  But I am planting them in a sheltered position and will cover with straw to prevent frost from burning the fresh shoots. Hope the will be ok as they are particularly bright red.

Thanks Chookie, we too get a bit of frost now and then, the days have been warm for the past 2 weeks but I think it still gets pretty cold in the night... I am contemplating on putting them in pots or in the ground, if in pots, I too will plant them now and put under the pergola :)

Judy, will post some photos of Mushrooms.
This is the stack of 100 blocks. If covered they keep growing. Even underneath.
