Morning all.
We are putting 100 fish in the dam at the weekend. I think they are rainbow trout.  About the size of a large banana.

Denise I'm sure you all sleep at night.

The fish will be wonderful Chookie. Hopefully the birds won't eat any.

Chookie, I think the birds will eat some, but there are tree branches in the dam so that they can hide.

Acookwoman as kids we use to get up at first light and jump into the speed boat to fish for rainbow trout for breakfast . The water had to be like a mirror . The best memories .

Goodmorning everyone.
Denise, it is so lovely when you can entertain a young one with simple free things like looking at fish in a pet shop.
So cute at that age.
Chookie, nice to know you will have your own fresh fish and know exactly where they have been sourced from. I'm sure the whole family will create wonderful new memories centred around your dam.

Morning all.

Open Day at Cherokee tomorrow. We had a nice surprise when we arrived yesterday. A friend had been over and had done some gardening. More gardening by us today. Hope the rain keeps away. Lunch out at friends. Better get a move on.
CC, hope you enjoyed your rest day. ,!
