Morning all.
Sorry the photo of the Roses is so big.
CC, that coat sounds lovely and warm. It seems to have become cold very quickly.
Very mild here, sun and light winds.

Chookie the roses are ever so beautiful, thank you. Ours are just starting to look good. I think I will pick some to bring inside. It is overcast today after several beautiful days.

Hello all

Although I have been MIA for quite a while, I often think of you all.

Today as I was making Strawberry Conserve with home made vanilla, muffins in the muffin maker (it's kinda hot/humid here) using an ice-cream scoop to drop the mix in, bread and butter pickle and my fave 5 seed bread in the slow cookers, I sent a huge thank you to you all.  I have learnt so much from the many fantastic cooks here and I've got to meet many of you as well.  Awesome 8) 8) 8)

Beautiful roses Chookie  :)

What's happened everyone?  I got up this morning and there was not a single new post of any sort on the forum.  I know there has been an election somewhere in the world that will have serious repercussions, but didn't think it would affect our forum - maybe everyone was glued to the news, like us, watching in either fascinated horror or extreme joy and are now resting and recovering  :o

Hello Marina, I think so many were in shock yesterday afternoon.

I have been busy at work, wish I had more time on here. :)

All good, I am about to make the kids smoothies for breakie,  :D

Gayle, Its like that when I just whip things up to bake all the time, so many great friendships because of this forum..,  :)

I picked up this quote from one of the news sites this morning:

"This American vote, even if Mr Trump is all talk and little delivery, could make the Brexit decision look like a triumph of common sense."

Good morning everyone, a lovely day here and I am meeting friends for lunch.
I had a feeling Trump would win so wasn't surprised, horrified but not surprised.  I'm more interested in what will happen once he takes over the Presidency!

Morning all.
I am in shock after American election.

Same here. It wasn't a very pleasant shock either.

Marina I'm not surprised that there were no new posts. Sadly it is happening more and more. I keep telling myself to post new recipes etc so that there will be new content. We still have a lot of guests checking on here and also lots of known members, but they are obviously very busy and don't post anymore.

Gert, what do you think is going to happen in America?  I find it quite scary.
