With no kids and no family anywhere near, Xmas is just a 'normal' day for us.  We open our gifts in the morning then just take it easy ... until DH gets cabin fever and feels he cannot relax any longer and heads out to get some work done.  This year we are going to our neighbour's house in the evening for a light meal with him, his partner and his lovely aunty so we are looking forward to that.

Not sure what the temperature is going to be like, hopefully not too hot.

Gert, Telstra chip in iPad. All fixed now but long story. Thank goodness for the ‘nerd’ in the Telstra shop.
This is the first year ever that we haven’t had a Xmas tree. Tradition in Ballarat is to go into one of the many Pine forests and cut your own small tree from where they have cleared the big trees.
Judy, just enjoy the trees that others put up. No cleaning up.  I love the smell of of the Xmas trees.
Oh Mab, you poor thing. Not a good start to the day.
Today we are preparing for visitors tomorrow. 13 for lunch. They are from Indonesia. Our GC are coming also, to help entertain the 5 children in the group.
Had a lovely lunch with Bruce and Mandy yesterday. Many will remember them as the couple who came to help, when CC came to Cherokee.

Not in my back yard, they're not .... nor are they welcome in my front yard ... nor along the other two sides of our house!!  We've got them in plague proportions.

Well sometimes we feel very pleased with our GC.  We had visitors from Indonesia. 5 were children aged between 4 and 16. We invited 2 of our GC around to help entertain them. They did a magnificent job.
They checked out the dam and the wild life, checked out the Chooks, ate a good lunch and then played footy.

Oh Marina, only on trend in the crafting world. Hope those nasty bunnies give you the wide birth.

It sounds like they all had a wonderful day Chookie, well done GC.  Nice to see AFL got a look in too!
I’m ready for next season already, my 2018 membership card is hanging from a doorknob.
