Heavy white frost again.  Max of 8.
Yesterday we enjoyed our morning tea in the sun on the Veranda.

Good morning everyone.  Sunshine here but still cool.

I opened the linen press this morning to get some fresh linen for the beds
only to find that the bloody mice have been in there too. >:( >:(  I've spent most of the morning sorting linen, washing some and have the rest waiting to be washed.

I'm still having ongoing internet problems with it dropping in and out at will.  The NBN are coming again of Monday I just hope they can sort it out.

The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

I’ve never heard of mice in a linen cupboard Margaret, not a nice surprise for you.

Mab, that is a real nuisance.  Making extra work for you.
Today, cold, didn’t even get to 8.

Nasty surprise Mab.
After a week of rain, have woken up to a lovely sunny day.

I’m not too sure I would cope with the temperatures you are all having. I think I’m freezing if the
Maximum is 16. It’s going to be 17 today.
DD was given tickets to the football tonight. I said I would go with her. I’m not sure if we are doing the right or wrong thing. I am in two minds. However we are going. It is a Fremantle home match, so as Eagles supporters we will be greatly in the minority. The are only allowing 30,000 in and I guess most of those will be Fremantle supporters.

Enjoy your game cookie, I totally understand you being in 2 minds.  They will do the right thing as far as social distancing in seats is concerned and I hope your team wins.  It will be hard being one of the minority, have they asked you to wear masks?

No they haven’t Judy. However we have a couple that we will take with us for the public transport. We will see how the seating is for the game. They are quite horrid to wear.

I have one of my GPS who wears a mask at appointments, I really have trouble hearing and understand her through the mask.  She asked me if I read lips, I said no but now I think perhaps I do with her as my hearing seems to have deteriorated lately and as we’re not sitting that close to each other and she has a soft voice it’s really difficult to grasp everything she says.

I find that the mask muffles the voice. Also it’s so hard to read people when they have a mask on. I didn’t realise this until we had to wear them in the Apple shop when DD bought her watch the other week. I would glance at her and I realised I couldn’t read her expression with a mask on.
I was in the local PO Friday and the we’re selling the N?? Masks for $74.99 for two. I know they are the recommended ones, but gosh. 🤨🤨🤨

I use to wear one or two or three For 8 hours a day in the operating theatre. So not really horrid for an hour or two!  Lol!

You are right Gert. It’s just that we aren’t used to them at all. Hopefully we don’t have to become used to them.

I don't mind the masks so much - it's the foggy glasses that I hate.
