I think we are 31/32 today. Cooler I hope. The wedding is this afternoon, the ceremony is by the river, hopefully it will be under trees. DD said I’m not to wear my fishing hat. 😀😀

Cookie, DD is a spoil sport.
Back to the cooler weather.  Everyone is complaining that their Summer veggies are not doing well.  Has been too cold.

New gardener did a great job trimming all the small hedges.
Cool again.
I pulled out one tomato plant and picked all the green tomatoes from it and made double lot of green tomato chutney and 2 green tomato cakes.

The rain has pretty much finished here. It has been extremely humid, like tropical weather.

The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Bit warmer today.
Going to pick more apples today.  Had an Apple expert have a look at the free Apples.  Very interesting. The trees are about 90 years old.  Apparently in those times, people planted a cooking apple tree and an eating apple tree. The ones I picked were an early form of Jonathon.  The other is Granny Smith. Love a bit of history with my cooking.
