That sounds like a lovely week end Chookie.

We are heading for 29* here today.

What a lovely thing to do Chookie. I'm sure it will be fantastic.
We had 1.4mm rain last night, just enough to keep the humidity around. ;D ;D It's warming up to 33 or so next week and will be sunny, so that should stop it.

That sounds lovely, Chookie, it's great that everyone is bringing something, makes your life so much easier and lots of interesting things to nibble on as well.

We have a few warm days coming up. It’s 9.30am and is 31 degrees. It is going to be 37 today with the weekend similar. Hopefully this will be the last lot of heat.

We have been having the most beautiful Autumn weather. My favourite time of the year.
The picnic by the dam was very successful. They all want to do it again. Ral took the table and chairs down on the tractor . No flies and lots of birds. Lots of laughs and talking, eating of course.

A perfect setting for a picnic Chookie. I used to love going on a picnic, it’s not something I’ve done for many years.

Next you will be building a gazebo by the pond and making it an outdoor room where you can sit and feed the ducks while enjoying a glass of.

Wow, Gert, now that is something we will have to consider.  :)
It has rained all day. Not very cold.
Warning, do not sign up withSimply Energy. They are impossible to deal with.  Dishonest and unreliable. I will give  them a week and if no action , will report  them to Ombudsman.

Sounds good to me Chookie and something to look forward to.
I’ve just successfully reduced my phone bill by $30 a month, would have liked it to have been more but Telstra are tough at the moment with their plans.  Had to give up my mobile data on the iPad and unlimited data is now reduced to 25 GB which is around what I use monthly. SIL has been on my back to switch carriers as there are better deals out there but this will have to do him for the time being. If he can find better then when he’s over he can do it for me LOL.

I am looking to changing to one of Aldi's plans, Judy.  They look pretty good and a couple of people I know who use them have no complaints.

I have no problem at all with Telstra. I pay $60 a month for the landline and unlimited data on my mobile for $45 a month and that is across all devices and I have a few plus all the streaming I do on TV. My Bill is never over $100 a month. If I go over a certain limit they threaten to slow down my NBN abut that has never happened. Just spent a few days in the northern beaches of Cairns and I could not believe how slow the service was. No matter what plan you have nor what company you go with they all use the Telstra lines so as far as I am concerned it is all about location the number of towers and the speed. My service is excellent. Very lucky I am to live where I live for broadband though not much else!
