I can hardly believe it but we are in for a very cold weekend.  Hail, wind and rain.

I probably shouldn’t say this but I thought the Olympic opening ceremony was woeful. Also feel for the Japanese people who don’t want it , but also for the athletes, 80% where this will be their only chance to be at an Olympics.

I also feel for the Japanese people Chookie. They are such a lovely people. They must feel very strongly to protest.
We had an overcast day, but little rain. I just saw the weather for the week. 95% chance of rain all week. We hope to go away, so I guess it will be much the same.

Bitterly cold and wet here but the sun does poke its head out occasionally.  It’s nice to stay in bed a bit longer during lockdown when you know no-one will be knocking on your door!

A reasonably pleasant day here with quite a lot of sunshine and very little rain. I received a text from the insurance company a while ago saying there will be gale force winds etc tomorrow night. I will worry twice as much as we will be away.

The van is sure to move about more than the house cookie, take plenty of port!

And don’t park under any trees.  Good quality port essential.

I have a bottle of Benjamin Port ready to go. A promise from DH that if it is too windy we can pull the top of the van down. We have a pop top van. We made sure we didn’t park under any trees, although the trees here are short and spindly. I think cyclone Seroja did a good job on them.

Thank you Judy. The wind dropped some time during the night but we had heavy rain. DD said Perth was bad but everything is ok at home.

That’s good, nice having others in the house to pass on the good news.

Raging wind here last night as well, but I don't think there was much, if any, rain.

Shop re-opens again today.  It will be good to have everyone back at work.

We had a wild and windy night here last night.  We expected to see the tv aerial blown down and some lost tiles as there was so much  noise.  DH is going to get up in the roof  :-)) :-))to check out the  tiles to make sure none have lifted.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

It was so sunny when I got up this morning so I thought they got the forecast wrong. An hour and a half later and it’s totally changed to overcast so I guess rain is coming afterall.
