Lovely day in Adelaide.

Here is another pic of my DD's wedding taken leaving the beach in Positano. They did a walk from the town hall where they were married to the beach and back to their hotel. It looked like a lot of fun with the townsfolk and tourists waving and cheering.

For you MF.

It all sounds wonderful MF, are you on an organised tour or are you doing your own thing?

Lovely photo Gretchen - everyone loves seeing a bride.

A late celebration for Fathers' Day Robyn - good to hear DH finally arrived.

Lovely photo Gert. The gown is so beautiful.

MF your trip sounds exciting. What sort of food are you eating?

A dressmaker in Cairns made it. Very complicated using the reverse of the material and a zipper that went in a diagonal plus the built in corset with hooks and eyes. It worked perfectly.  The walk through the town was a hoot with cobblestones , steps plus the rocky sandy beach. She made it without falling. The mayor presented them with a home made tile which is a lovely gesture .

That is so special, Gert. The mayor sure has more people skill than the 2 clowns running to be our PM ;D

A very clever dressmaker. The making of that beautiful gown sounds very complex. Too much for my little head. Hehehe

Love the sunshine beaming from your DD and SIL's faces. Pure joy :)

Gorgeous photos Gert and thanks for sharing.
We are going to Positano after breakfast. We spent a week there a few years ago and are really looking fwd to going there today.
Cookie so far we have been eating typical Italian food and its been delicious apart from one lousy meal in the Piazza Navona in Rome.
Unfortunately I can't get tapatalk to work so I can't post food photos  >:(

Glad to hear DH is home now Robyn
Courton I hope all your family will be well soon .

Gert your DD's gown is beautiful in its apparent simplicity, yet it sounds very difficult to make.

MF what would you call typical Italian food? Pasta etc?

Stunning photos Gert.  ;D

Cookie last night we had 3 courses a ravioli type dish with a tomato sauce, then a pork main with zucchini, mushrooms , and other mixed veg followed by a chocolate mousse. For lunch at Pompeii DH and I shared a pizza and a caprese salad ( mozzarella and sweet tomatoes with basil). Breakfast just the usual hotel fare with a great variety of breads, cheese and cold cuts. Not much hot food though eggs are available.
