It is massive CC, some times I think it's beyond me but it's not impossible. And there is a world of information on the internet.
I am just taking my time step by step :)
If anyone can take on a project like this Mandi, you can ;)

CC Ruby is growing way too fast, she is almost 1 now, crawling everywhere and pulling herself up on everything. She will be off and running soon. :)

And Judy so far I have done everything myself except some help from my sister and brother in law getting the roof off. DH just shakes his head, I think I'm scaring him as he thinks it will never be finished :) but I will show him. :)

Dede that will be quite an attachment. You can do it and when you have finished it will be wonderful.

What a fabulous project! I look forward to seeing updates :)

Today we went to Floriade. I knew it was going to be windy and raining so I thought it would be the perfect day to avoid the crowds :) No line up to the Ferris Wheel (but a bit scary up the top due to the wind). Apart from the weather it was lovely :)
The pic is from yesterday when the weather was much nicer, but the crowds made it unbearable (we only lasted 30minutes there).

We've done it a little similarly here Jamberie - Sunday was "Tulip Sunday" at the Botanic Gardens, and apparently 18,000 people went! We got caught up doing other stuff, but I went with the kids yesterday when it was raining, and we nearly had the place to ourselves.  No ferris wheel but lots of exploring the paths and gardens, and also feeding the ducks - they were extra friendly probably because no one else had been in to feed them!

I love Floriade. I  have been twice but I think it is about time we came over for another one.

Today I had  my hair cut and visited the podiatrist. I am ready for action now.

Been running around madly today.  Packing to go away for a few nights, which seems to take FOREVER.  Have had a friend of DS around for a play, been to the next door neighbours kids' birthday party, been to collect a book from the library, had mum and 2 of her friends around for coffee, done washing & folding, and now still packing and cleaning up to leave the place semi-tidy. Whew, looking forward to a couple of days off now.
TMX and pizza oven all packed and ready to go.  ;D

Another day of SOD (simplify Organise Declutter). Took yet another boot load to the local church run thrift store. I'm on a first name basis with quite a few of the volunteers there now. They always say they love opening and sorting my donations (obviously folk that love their work). I really thought I would be long done by now - although the more that leaves the house the more I want to get rid of and the easier it is (maybe not quite so easy for DH).

I don't think I will ever be a minimalist that owns only 100 items and can live out of a back pack - nor would I want to be. I love entertaining and will always want all that goes along with that to make it enjoyable and easy. Having rid our home of the excess though has changed my mind set about consumerism.  :D
