Lily has been wanting to have a little garden for ages and I am such a brown thumb was putting it off but yesterday we went and bought a whole pile of herbs and special herb soil and pink pots, so today we planted them and really hope they thrive she was so excited,  maybe if I don't go near them they'll survive ::)

Karen that was a great experience for you all and the boys look gorgeous in those jackets. Well done.

Great work on the herbs Suzanne, I'm sure they will thrive.

Yes too much water is not good for them Suzanne. Just keep the soil moist but not wet.
Lily won't be happy  ;D

Had a day off today, sat back and put my feet up and did nothing .........yeh right :D
House work, washing, feed birds, finished off 3 frames and worked on the caravan.
All cupboards are now pulled out, I even found money under the very last cupboard that I removed. Think I will put it towards the renovations :)

And started drawing up a plan of the frame work for future reference. One side done only 3 to go

(Note the size of the wheel, I traced around my coffee cup lol)

Have a great break ES.
Lily is a real sweetie Suzanne
Today we went down to visit some friends who have a small farm about 100km or so from Perth. We went for a lovely walk and saw so many beautiful wild flowers on their property. I took heaps of photos. A wonderful day out in the fresh air. I also came home with 4 lovely proteas and a dozen real farm eggs.
This is an enamel orchid. It looks as though it has been enamelled.

.  Cat's paw.

. Cowslip orchid.

Just a few of the flowers we saw in the bush.
