Made a sort of pork Mexican rice thing in the Thermothingy then popped the whole thing into capsicum topped with cheese and I to the oven.

It looks a perfect lunch.

I had a coffee with Hally this morning then had a small prowl round the shopping centre. It was lovely to catch up with her and hear all about her holiday.

Lots to catch up on... good luck with the caravan Mandi,  will be watching your progress with interest.
Very excited for you Karen, I can only dream of business class travel to Europe! And good to see that marina & Jo got together - love the idea of a forum fest in NZ, maybe one day...
Today I had a roof man come over to fix some loose tiles - bad news is, all the tiles on that small section of roof need to be re-laid (they're sliding off!); good news is, he says the rest of the roof should be good for another 10 years! Such a relief.
I've finally come down with a cold - blame it on stupid hot-then-cold-then-hot Melbourne weather! So I've been laying low most of the day.

Well dede it is marvellous what you are doing, and great that cookies DH can help you with this great project.

Lovely lunch Gert.
Get well Deedub.

Went to electrical supplier today for parts in the POURING rain and the cash n carry for more bacon and rolls. It was so. Bad I went in my gumboots. They have a great offer on .99p for 6 good rolls and then they are BOGOF as well. So bought 6 packs. We eat a lot of ham or bacon rolls for lunch. Got some finger shaped ones so must get some sausages for a change.
Sunny afternoon but oh so windy. Lovely new windows protecting us from gales.

Finally finished my stool at class today.Hand sewing the cord has been a right pain, took me ages to get it to look acceptable.

You've done an amazing job CC, it would have been tedious work hand sewing the cord.  Isn't it nice though to finish a project and then think about what the next one will be or have you already planned that?
