Well done Jamberie! don't work too hard!

After yesterday's gales I picked two feed bags full of twigs for kindling for the stoves. Put in log shed to dry.
Moved some sheep.
Emptied and dust sheeted the kitchen ( again).
Rang my mum for a catch up.
Went to builders merchant.
Took dog out to now empty field on his two long lines (50ft) as near road and gate not secure. He enjoyed sniffing around while I picked more sticks.

Congrats Jamberie.

I've done a few loads of washing, some cleaning, walked the dogs and now off to the first of two games of basketball with DS. Have to go to a Spanish food shop near the city between games to stock up on ingredients and hopefully get a present for a friends 50th today. DS has a haircut appointment and I'm hopeful of getting to the gym late this afternoon but that will only happen if everything goes according to plan.

My DH has gone interstate for a few days to visit a mate, so I'm home alone.
Pottering around, shopping, washing, making Chookies spicy pear chutney at the moment, along with a big pot of bolognese sauce on the stove.

Later Judy and I are going to the movies.

General housework first and then off the local retirement village fete with DIL and GD's.  Will probably look in on thel arts market as well.  So many things on today, it's hard to choose which ones to go to.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Have just been out with the dog. Loose lead walking still improving, 65% today, so still a lot of stops.
The plasterer is here and the chimney man has booked us in for a new stove and chimney liner on 2 nov. This was an unexpected necessity as we found huge chimney probs, which could be dangerous. Light one fire and the smoke came out in the next door room. Oops!

Cooking sausages for lunch in Aga to go in rolls. Bought steak pie and veg tonight should be manageable I think. Depends how plasterer gets on.
Hope to choose paint later for kitchen and DD room. Depends how we get on and when DH is back. There is always tomorrow but I prefer not to shop on a Sunday unless an emergency.  We need to be in the kitchen ASAP so the stove can be done. DH will have to get moving with the kitchen installation.......
