So you couldn't turn up a turnip Gert ☺️☺️☺️
Not bad at all.

DS returned last night at 8.30pm from his fishing/camping adventure, absolutely exhausted...they ended up just over the S.A. border
between the 2 boys they caught 39 fish.....all but 2 were undersized, so they all lived another day
....his plans to sleep until lunch time are dashed, being the son of a farmer...he has to drive the truck in the paddocks today for the hay carters....um, the lure of being paid does not excite him today, he'd rather his bed
Well, this New Year's Eve is only the 2nd time we won't be having/going to a party...yep, hubby working late again, DS will still be over tired & cranky, & DD having a friend over....At least it will be a nice change to start the first day of the year not hung over or sick

Have a relaxing time at home Maddy and Happy New Year to you and your family.
My DH is on nightshift tonight (7pm - 7am) and I'm babysitting my grandson so my dtr can have a rare night out. So a quiet one for me too.

Oh, and what a stupid idea it was to buy a fox garden ornament that Hubby loved so much....the guinea fowl had been pacing in front of it & squawking it's head off for an hour, since 5am this morning
It must be realistic for him!

That's funny Maddy. Have a nice quiet NYE. We are going to a BBQ this year the first time in years we haven't had something at home. I'm hoping I'm OK in the morning but my resolve is never that good when given alcohol.

Katie & I were just wondering the other day where you put the fox maddy - now you have a problem if the noise the guinea fowl is making gets too much for you. One of them may have to go
How would a taxidermied guinea fowl look

Funny about the fox Maddy!
We're heading up to Mogumber for the New Year Rodeo. Hubby gave me a flash camera for Christmas, so with the card thingy in it, I can take a mere 4000 photos. Should get a good one or 2 I hope! My niece and nephew are riding in the slack in the kids events, steer riding, barrels and not sure what else, so will blast off a few piccies of them.
Camping out there the night, so packing the camper trailer with all the things that we may and may not need for the night.
Happy New Year , may 2014 be a good one for everyone

Nikkit sounds like a lot of fun except the camping. Love to watch a rodeo.

I know where Mogumber is Nikkit. I used to live in Moora. Sounds like you'll have a lot of fun.
