Lots going on.....
Gert you have huge sympathy from over here.....
Only good thing about this VILE weather is no maggots.... Everything is drowned.... Rats in some areas are a problem in the uk as they escape the floods I to houses, but not here.

BZB love the pics and the sunshine! it is so grey and dark here.

I bought my last car, had it ten years.

Today I have fed the sheep

Made bread Uni's quick recipe with 150 w/m flour substituted.

And stained wood

Friend coming to stay next week to help, had brilliant idea - will put their bed in dining room as that room will be totally decorated by then and upstairs is like Armageddon. Patching the landing ceiling and one bedroom ceiling with new plasterboard, to be skimmed after.

Love the pics DJ  they give us an idea of the difficulty of renovations and restoration in such a house. Glad you are having a friend to help for a bit.

I would pop over to help if you would make that bread for me.

The sheep look pretty clean with all that mud. They are smart enough to stay on the high ground eh .

Nikkit some salesmen are their own worst enemy and need a smack. Cars are a major major purchase to be taken seriously and we need to get it right. And of course the horse has to be happy too.

Well Gert there is shelter there and it is a bit drier up the  hill ..... Trying to persuade them to eat a little hay everyday for roughage. Trouble is sheep eat hay better in very cold or frosty weather and we don't have that.
I take a bag every day and sprinkle out hay very thinly to avoid waste. They all do have a mouthful and I am hoping that they will get keener on it.
Our fields appear to be the watershed for the hill so water cascades out of the hill and down, in vast quantities!!!!!

Thanks Yvette.

Back from my camping trip. Had a beautiful time. Lots of laughs and relaxing. Now I have so much washing to do it's going to take me days and days to catch up, but well worth it.
I would add so photos but tapatalk won't let me for some reason.
This morning I'm off to my new job for an orientation session. Should have more of an idea what I'm doing by the end of the day. :)
Hope everyone has a great day.

Nikkit, some sales folks are complete waste of time. They don't know their products!

DJ great pics. Bread looks yum.

Dede good luck :)

Glad to hear you had a relaxing holiday Mandi, is the new job the same type of work as the last one?

No rest for the wicked DJ but you are always up to it and how lovely a friend is coming to help, the more hands the better.

Argh, looks like I won't be doing a lot today.  My car (brand new in April 2013) is making a helluva racket every time it moves and I can't get it looked at until Friday.
Pretty disappointed as I was meant to be driving to Mum's tomorrow for her birthday, and granddad is also staying with her, but heading home on Friday so I will miss seeing him.

Just done the wages for this week and located some receipts DH needs and a few other odd jobs in the office.  Kids are at a friend's place, so enjoying some peace and quiet.

Hope the new job goes well Dede.
