The Internet is very slow tonight and wouldn't show me pictures tonight but lovely to hear about everyone's plans and achievements.

After a slow start I did a lot of wood staining in a bedroom on the doors. New carpet on Friday. Tomorrow I must do the last bit in there, the back of the door and the skirting board. Then a touch up of emulsion on the scrapes ( we had stored a lot of kit in here) the Rest of the curtains coming Monday for the landing, hall and one more reception room. Only the kitchen windows left for blinds and have to wait until tiles done.
I also put more white paint on the dado rail in the loo and on the downpipe on the old fashioned pull chain cistern.
Unpacked a lot of our bedding into new airing cupboard. Got clean sheets on our bed. Have managed with only one set for months meaning quick on and off wash and back on.
Pot roasted chicken, perfect for foggy throats.

We had a lovely day. Had a one hour walk along the lakeside then a leisurely alfresco lunch at my favourite restaurant here which also overlooks Lake Wakatipu. A wander around town then home for drinks on the balcony. Now deciding on dinner. Very relaxed here but poor DH has work dramas. Such is life.

bout to go to bed after a very long day at the hospital.  :(
Miss 9mths vomited blood at 3:40am so have been there pretty much since then.  :P
Yawn, tired now.

She seems ok, they couldn't find why she did it which added to the stress,  :( Glad she was ok enough for them to let her home tho.  :)

Just have to make the lunches and hang a load of washing then I'm done  ;D
:D

Astarra how worrying for you.  Wishing you a goodnight tonight.
CC you and your DH are so clever. Love the simple lines of the chair and the comfy rattan seat. Worth a lot I would think.

Love the chair CC. Louis will love it too. Reminds me of something similar I had when I was little. I used it a great deal.

Astarra I do hope the little one is ok. So worrying for you.

We went for a drive down to Cowaramup today, it is about 25 south of Busselton. I made a stuffed Cobb to take for lunch. We had icecreams at Simmos in Busselton and then Millers at Cowaramup. They were sooooooooo very nice. We left about 8.15am and got home about 5.15pm. It was a lovely day out.
the Busselton jetty. You can't see all of it, as it turns right at what looks like the end. This is where we are having our National Meet in September. (Model A)

One lot of the cow statues in Cowaramup. They are everywhere. They look so cute outside the shops etc.

Our lunch!
