You have a lovely tidy backyard Judy. Yukkas grow reasonably fast - will look good against the cream fencing.

Thanks girls.  The lawn is artificial Jen so always looks green  ;)

I thought it might have been. Looks good.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Yesterday DH received a letter saying he had won $100 worth of food from Jean Pierre Sancho. A bakery type of shop. Their food is lovely. I've never had bread from there as I usually make it. This morning we went and spent the money and here are our goodies.

There are the yum macarons in the container, 3 different rolls that we had for lunch, in the box there is croissants, almond croissants, the chocolate whatever's, fruit snails and other lovely stuff. The front left is a rye loaf, behind that is a sourdough loaf, on the right at the front is an organic loaf and at the back an olive loaf. Needless to say a lot of it will go in the freezer. They don't make a lot of breads so we bought one of each they had left. It will be interesting to taste them.

We've eaten the 3 rolls at the front. They were for lunch. We're going to have soup for dinner so that we can try the breads. We feel very spoiled.

Gardens always need maintenance though Denise, I don't know how many times I've revamped both the front and back but looking now to make it fairly maintenance free as I get older and lazier.

Congratulations cookie. The food looks wonderful. Is all that really worth $100?

Actually $102 Kimmy. Not much for the money really. We have had a slice of each bread and liked the olive bread the best.

So very true. DH and DD said they thought our SD and rye breads were heaps better. Homemade seems to have much more flavour.
