Wow cookie hope you had room in freezer?
Been preparing for lambing, gardening and shopping... See thread... But not very exciting... LOL
Been moving & planting self set seedlings of foxgloves and lychnis to make more colour and appear natural....
Have a load of plants coming next week for the many gaps where we dug out old border plants full of ground elder and bindweed. Trying to make a riot of colour for us and the guests this summer. It is such a lovely place. Have ordered 6 verbena bonariensis. Some to put in the rose bed and border and a lot of hollyhocks as there are none here. I just hope they don't rust.
I opened up garlic bulbs and DH planted them. More to plant tomorrow.

It was in The West Australian BZB and DD stood over DH and showed him how to enter.

Arrived home safely and DS had cooked a meal and put it in the fridge for us for dinner tonight. A lovely very welcome surprise.
He popped in for an hour with DIL and little Sophie 2 years. She is adorable and was so nice to see her. Her vocabulary is amazing its like having a conversation with a 5 year old.
Dogs very happy to be home too. We really missed them.

Very thoughtful of DS MF, welcome home. It's wonderful when the littlies start to talk. Enjoy the busy time ahead.

I rode the 3 dams challenge today, 146km of cycling through the Perth hills passing/crossing 3 of the 5 dams in the hills with 1320m of climbing. It was a brilliant day for it.
I originally didn't plan on doing this but was talked into it by one of the local cycle club members that needed a partner. I'm glad I did it.

Den that is fantastic. I can't even think of cycling that much in one day! What a champ, you should be really proud of yourself. Hope it helps reduce other life stresses.

Mmm, those breads look good Cookie. Coincidentally I made an Olive Loaf for dinner last night. It was a winner, so will have to convert (didn't write the weights down as I went like I usually do).
DD, that's an amazing effort. Hope you are not feeling it too much today.
It's a quiet day at home here. Grey and drizzly, and DD home from kindy - they have shut it down for a couple of days to try and break the cycle of a nasty gastro bug that's been going around.

Wow, Den! You are amazing!!
Went for a short drive in our new ride as it's such a glorious morning. With a 2.5l engine but only 6.6l/100km fuel consumption, this zoom-zoom is a fabulous piece of technology 😃
