Aside from working on the computer, I'm off to the hairdressers in a couple of hours to get rid of the greys. Sometimes when my greys grow out too quickly I just want to get a pair of scissors and cut off the coloured hair so I can just be all grey and that will be that. I don't have the courage tho  :-)) and my kids especially would be horrified  :D my DH might possibly think something was different

The last time I ever went into a hairdresser it cost me $140 for a cut and colour.  I went home and never went back. I let it grow out for a few weeks the went to a barber who cut it off  for $20 and never dyed it again. That was at least 7 years ago. At $140 every 5/6 weeks I have saves a fortune.

Very liberating.

I used to do the same Gert. Then one day I thought, to heck with it.  I am now all natural from the ears up.

ROFLMAO! That certainly begs the question about  everything from the ears down cookie!

Thanks djinni, Cookie and Obbie.

Just uploaded the other piece that DS12 performed yesterday. Don't really know how he did it. My usually rough-and-tough boy played this Chopin Nocturne so sensitively and tenderly...just beautiful to listen to after a tiring day. He received a glowing report and Second Place in Piano Solo Romantic Under-13 at the Fremantle Eisteddfod. Have a listen :)

I'm just back from an awards night for my son and his fiancée for butchering. They both received trophies and knives.
The guest speaker was Fast Ed from Better Homes and Gardens. He is a very engaging speaker and a wonderful story teller. He didn't have any notes to refer to either. He is from an Hungarian/Jewish background and spoke about his upbringing and how he ended up on T.V.
I will post some photos when they are available.  :D

Fast Ed was very interesting. Yep, Jess is a butcher too. There were just as many girls as boys at the awards tonight and the girls did extremely well.

I'll have to tell Geoff that, he used to be a butcher and I'm sure there weren't too many female butchers in his day.

That's wonderful Mich. congratulations to them both. Butchers always seem so happy and chatty. Does that mean you will get quality meat at low prices?
