What a treat to see your posts Mandi, you are regularly thought of.  It will be lovely to meet you in person in Hobart if you can find and hour or so.  Life does though the odd curved ball but you have fielded it well.  What a lovely family you have. ( not an accident with you as their lovely mother).
I too have had my thermomix about 31/2 years and haven't had an error message yet but won't be too alarmed if it occurs. Thanks for the heads up.

Mandi, lovely to catch up with what you are doing.  Have thought of you often and wondered how things were going.  Wishing you well with your course and hope to hear now and then how things are going.  Take care

I'm glad you came to WA Bedlam, we would have missed out if you hadn't.
Mandi it is lovely to hear from you. I have been following your caravan etc on Facebook. Your daughter's birthday cake was lovely. ( I think it was your DD)

This afternoon I had a little excursion to the specialist. He removed a cancer from just above my eyelid, under my brow. I now have a weird looking eye and a gorgeous dressing on it. I would make the perfect pirate. The numbness is beginning to wear off but I don't think it is going to hurt much.

Yes cookie1 it was the same DD who is now hoping around with crutches who had the recent birthday. :)
I just got a call from thermomix who said my machine is ready to come home and also just needed to be re calibrated and the error messages reset so no big issues thank goodness. The cost was $120 which is cheap (that included freight) oh and they also fixed my 1 bowl that had a slight dent in the lip. So I'm happy. I just have to pay the invoice and I should have it back I'm guessing by Tuesday.

Oh and today I just brought myself a new dishwasher as my other one broke down again, actually it worked over time and was going for 6 hours while I was at work. I wasn't prepared to have it repaired again.

Wow Aussie Brenda that sounds very relaxing. I certainly wouldn't be camping this time of year in Tassie. We have had some ripper frosts lately. -3 here the other morning when I was at work and my car was out in the open. I literally had to snap my doors open as they were frozen shut :)

Mandi that looks freezing. WA gets cold but not too cold. I hope your DD recovers soon.

Brrr.
We were 10 pound poms!  I was 5 years old. I think how brave my folks were , all for a better life for us children . Mum was 26 and Dad 28 with 3 children, I was the eldest. Dad's family were either here or planning to immigrate but Mum left all her family behind. She was the only  daughter of 7 children.

Your poor Grandmother Denise.  It must have been hard for her to say goodbye to her only daughter.
