It's always good to hear from family when they're away Nikkit, just a quick message to say they arrived or all is well is all that's needed to keep us parents happy (it also applies when our married children go away
).
Gorgeous colour Denise, I've not seen that dark one before.

What a horrible day we have had here in Tassie. Oh my goodness I hate the strong wind. Terrible that one poor lady was killed by a falling limb
very sad.
My daughter had an appointment at the orthopedic clinic this afternoon which I almost postponed, but luckily the wind calmed down enough for me to feel safe to drive. The caravan that is only half a caravan under our carport covered with a huge tarp didn't look like moving at all (must be built well
). My poor birds in the aviary wouldn't of had much fun though. One aviary moved but luckily didn't topple. The wind is starting to pick up again now. Hope it's not too bad though over night.
Hope everyone else in Tassie is keeping safe.

Stay safe Mandi, I think we are in for a woolly night here to, especially in the hills but probably not as bad as Tassie.

Take care Mandi and Marie. The winds sound horrid. Judy I hope yours isn't too bad. Stay safe all of you.
I've had almost a full day at home today, it has been lovely. Tomorrow is the hairdresser for the am and a meeting in the pm.

After much deliberation I joined the 12WBT today. I have been trying to lose a few and get a lot fitter but lacking motivation. I thought about not bothering because our 3 weeks in Tassie is at the end but it will be worth having better fitness while there, I think...hope!
Sorry for my comment in the last thread Adelaide girls, didn't realise there is bad weather. Take care Tassie people also.

CC, that flower is gorgeous
Nikkit, so glad your DD is having a great time.
Storms have passed and we are okay here, not too much damage. Power is back on and hoping it stays on. May even get some cooking done today. Quite cold today but clear sky and sunny.
Bedlam, I am sure you can do it, good luck.
Cookie, good luck with the budget meeting.

Sounds good to me Robyn, I'd much rather be doing office work than house cleaning
