Had a gorgeous lunch and a BIG catch up with Karen H. today.
Great to see you again Karen - we'll catch up again when the fruit is ripe for a swap.

I have had a very lucky 2 days - lunch with Amanda yesterday and lunch with KatieJ today!!  So wonderful to be able to catch up in person with forum friends  ;D

Its something that often brings a smile to my face, how we all get along so well.

Thanks for the messages.
Good days and bad Judy.... You know more than anyone how it goes.

Oh Gert I hope the new AB help and the codeine, a night cough is horrible. I found Hall's soothers the only things that stop my cough. Probably bad for the teeth, but it helped my cough over the last two winters.i keep them in my handbag for emergencies.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Halls-Soothers-Blackcurrant-45g-Pack/dp/B0058J4V62 shows you what they are, don't know if available in Australia.

Wow  DJ those soothers are expensive. Are they truly better than a supermarket lolly and much better than a pharmaceutical lolly? Or something in between ?

Thanks for all the advice girls. Got a few hours sleep in between coughing fits and pit stops!

I find that Fisherman's Friends do the job nicely while also helping the nose .

All I want if for my ears to become unblocked. It really makes me cranky!

It is going to be hot in a lot of the country today. Take care.

Lovely to hear from you DJ and good to hear you are taking some time for yourself.  :-*

To all those with the dreaded lurgy I hope you all recover soon.  So far we have been lucky enough to avoid it.

Today I am changing Car and home insurance after 26 years with one company, so 6 polices going.

any suggestions would be great.  ;)

Apparently we have to build a arc, as even though we live on a mountain, 1000 meters above sea level, I am at a very high level risk of flooding, as they have confirmed we have checked us out on google maps and we are so close to the sea.

I was so shocked yesterday afternoon at how crazy that statement is.  They now know how crazy they are.Today they will come down in price a bit, but not much.

Lucky were with #### Not.
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.

Terrible to hear that so many of you have caught the flu, I hope everyone has a speedy recovery!

Finally returned home from work Wednesday night, quick reunion with the BF before having to take him to the airport early Thursday morning for work! Hopefully one day we'll see the same roster! Got home made yoghurt, I added milk powder and vanilla bean paste to the automatic program, turned out perfect!

Today I've been making candles for the local makets that are on tomorrow, in between that I've made Astarras bread rolls! Now relaxing trying to find the motivation to make labels for said candles sigh*
