Katie I don't envy you your trip to hosp but good to get it all over at once. Hope you family take good care of you.

Next Tuesday I’m having surgery to hopefully fix a raft of women’s issues that I have.  I’ll be having four procedures in total, needing a day or two in hospital, heavy duty pain killers and two to three weeks to recover.  I’ve been taking medication in the lead up to the surgery, which the specialist said might make me “moody”.  Well moody is an understatement!  I’ve been annoyed, tired, unmotivated, miserable and completely over it.

On a positive note, all my Xmas shopping is completed and wrapped, so I’m feeling pleased about that.

What a b*gg*r Katie! I hope all goes well and you can be yourself again soon.

Just home this afternoon after 5 days away with the family to Lakes Entrance.  Weather was terrible for the first day, so much rain, then overcast and showery for the rest of the time but not very cold.  Celebrated GS4 birthday there as well.  Everyone had a nice time.

Good luck with your surgery Katiej.

Well done Wonder with your run.

At work, struggling to (A) not fall asleep and (B) not abuse anyone.

Thanks everyone. Managed not to abuse anyone today Judy (although today isn't over yet!)

Richard will look after me Gert. We share most of the jobs at home 50/50, so he's pretty good at doing most things. He has a licence to drive the TMX, so we won't starve.

Sorry to hear of your upcoming procedures Katie. I agree with Judy, we all know your usual placid nature.  How awful for you.  What a shame it is so close to Christmas.  I'm sure Richard will care for you well.
Big hugs and lots of love X

I am in bed today with a streaming nose, big box of hankies, and bin right next to the bed. Not a pretty sight!

Best wishes for Tuesday, Katie.  Take care and make sure you allow yourself enough time to recuperate properly over the Xmas period.
