Thanks to the mods.

Get well RTC, well done and good luck, the lurgy takes ages to go.... But this week is better than last week.
DS also had it in London last week too, 3 days fever, then the cough..... Hoping we'll all be better by Xmas.

So glad the siege is over, but so sorry about the casualties.

Great job mods, it's never easy defending against spam or any other kind of denial of service attack.

DJ - sounds like something is doing the rounds in the UK my mum is pretty unwell with couching and sneezing and aching joints etc. I can't imagine the weather there is helping one bit either. Minus temps then warm spells then cold again. Needs a good long cold spell to kill all the bugs...... If that can hold off though until I return in January I would be most appreciative I am after all a cold weather creature. Yep moving to Brisbane, go figure :P

RC and DJ I hoe you are both on the mend and feeling better.

Today I am taking the dog to the vet. We are going to have a talk about the youth in Asia. The little ankle bitter is 14 and hasn't been looking too well for a while.  He had some blood tests a fortnight ago and it sounds like he may have cancer.  :(

It is a bit sad but he was never a very endearing dog.  :-\

Hard job to do Den but your doggie will be welcome in doggie heaven even if he was not the most endearing . Elvis, Pitch, Louie will be there to meet him . Lots of our doggies will be there and it will all be fine. No pain no sickness .

Congratulations RC.

DD it will still be hard. Even if they aren't endearing you kinda get attached to them.

Almost off to meet some forum members for lunch.

In for a minute to have a brag.
Miss 13 reaped the rewards of working hard in year 7 this year and came home with a swag of awards. And gift vouchers - $100 worth. We are so proud we matched the value and she is thrilled that she can go shopping after Christmas and has asked me to help her spend it all!!  ;D
So she got:
Principles Honours List
Excellence in Maths, English and Health
And is the Dux of Year 7.

If I don't get back in here before the fat man in the red suit comes - I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May you all be blessed with wonderful friends, family and food at your table and enjoy the time together.
And bring on 2015, I feel it is going to be an absolute cracker of a year.  ;D ;D ;D

Wonderful Nikkit.  Imagine a 13 year old girl excelling in maths and English. I was fearful they stopped teaching those subjects. Fantastic. Good luck to her next year. She is one smart chic who will get on in life.

All the best you you and your mob for a great 2015.

Nikkit - brag you jolly well should! That is fantastic news I bet you are only ever so slightly proud!

DD - that's a horrible day / conversation for you. I hope things turn out for the best.
